Kelly graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine’s MEDEX Northwest Physician Assistant Program in 2003 and brings 23 years of combined experience in Orthopedics and Aesthetics to her practice.
Known for her kind, thoughtful approach, Kelly believes that truly understanding her clients is just as important as understanding their aesthetic goals. She takes the time to listen—not only to what clients hope to achieve, but also to their concerns, experiences, and the things that matter most to them. Her goal is to build lasting relationships and create a comfortable, trusting environment where clients feel genuinely heard.
Kelly takes a conservative, natural approach to aesthetics and believes that less is often more. Her approach is centered on enhancing her clients’ natural features while helping them look and feel like the best version of themselves.
A Navy veteran and Helotes resident, Kelly loves being part of the community she serves. She is nationally certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and continues to pursue advanced aesthetic training to provide thoughtful, natural-looking results for her clients.

Erin Lenza, PA-C
Erin graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine and has been a Board-Certified Physician Assistant since 2003. With well over 20 years of experience in Dermatology and Aesthetics, she brings extensive knowledge and experience in laser treatments, injectables, and wellness to her practice.
Erin is known for being authentic, honest, and refreshingly straightforward. A detail-oriented perfectionist, she takes pride in her work and believes in enhancing natural beauty rather than overdoing it. Her goal is always to create thoughtful, balanced results that leave her clients looking refreshed and feeling like the best version of themselves.
But beyond her clinical expertise, Erin is often her clients’ biggest hype girl. She is silly, fun, and loves making people feel comfortable and confident throughout their aesthetic journey. She goes the extra mile for her clients, building genuine relationships and making sure they feel heard, cared for, and confident in their care.
In 2020, Erin left general Dermatology to focus primarily on Aesthetics and Wellness, helping develop The Lotus Medspa alongside Kelly. An Air Force veteran and Helotes resident, Erin is proud to serve her friends and neighbors in the community. She is licensed by the State of Texas, certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and dedicates more than 50 hours each year to continuing education, conferences, and advanced training to stay current with the latest techniques and innovations.
Erica Cordoba, LME
Licensed Medical Aesthetician
Erica began her career in Dermatology as a Medical Assistant in 2009, where she developed a strong clinical foundation and a lasting passion for skin health. She later earned her esthetician license from Vogue College of Cosmetology and has spent over a decade working alongside Physicians in Dermatology and Aesthetics, specializing in advanced treatments such as chemical peels, microneedling, and corrective skincare.
As a certified Face Reality Acne Bootcamp specialist, Erica has helped hundreds of clients navigate their acne journeys and is trained in addressing complex skin concerns, including acne, Rosacea, and Melasma. She is incredibly knowledgeable in her craft and constantly seeks out the latest treatments and techniques to provide the best possible care. Her personalized, results-driven approach is rooted in a genuine investment in each client's long-term skin health.
Known for being one of the sweetest and kindest people you'll meet, Erica makes every client feel comfortable, cared for, and heard. Outside of the treatment room, she loves rock music, attending concerts with her husband, and pole fitness. Her passion for learning and genuine love for helping others make her a valued part of The Lotus team.
Jessica Arce, LME
Licensed Medical Aesthetician
With over eight years of experience in dermatology and five years as a licensed esthetician, Jessica is passionate about helping her clients achieve healthy, radiant skin. Her approach is holistic and results-driven, with a focus on treatments that support both immediate improvements and long-term skin health.
Jessica is always eager to learn, regularly traveling throughout Texas and the United States for continuing education and advanced training. She loves expanding her knowledge and exploring new treatments that can better serve her clients’ individual needs. For Jessica, helping clients reach their skin goals is one of the most rewarding parts of what she does.
Our bilingual queen, Jessica brings a warm, fun-loving personality to every appointment. She is known for her silly sense of humor, genuine care, and ability to make clients feel comfortable and welcomed. She takes pride in creating personalized experiences and helping each client feel confident in their skin.

Cannon Clifton, MD, PE
Medical Director
Dr. Clifton is a board certified Anesthesiologist who completed medical school and residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. During his private practice career, he served as Chief of Anesthesia at Northeast Methodist Hospital in San Antonio for six years. Dr. Clifton was also the CEO and Co-Founder of Kalypso Wellness Centers where they provided over 10,000 proprietary ketamine infusions to help patients that struggled with chronic pain and chronic mental health issues. He oversaw the successful sale of the company to Eleusis, LTD, the first life sciences company in the United States to focus on psychedelic therapy for patient improvement.
When not helping patients, Dr. Clifton enjoys spending time with his wife, two kids, and his extended family that mostly live Texas. Dr. Clifton’s hobbies include golf, fishing, hunting, playing classical piano, and writing children’s stories for his kids.

After graduating from Texas A&M University in 2020 with a degree in Business Administration, with concentrations in Marketing - Data Analytics & Consulting, she relocated to Hawaii to travel and gain professional experience, working as a civilian with the U.S. Army. This chapter helped shape her adaptability, organization, and strategic mindset—skills she now brings into the Aesthetics Industry.
She later returned home to support her mother, Kelly Rayburn, in growing The Lotus Medspa. As the Marketing Manager, she oversees social media, advertising, print marketing, front desk operations, vendor relations, and day-to-day business functions. Passionate about brand growth and client experience, she plays a key role in the continued expansion of the practice while bringing a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to everything she does.
ABOUT THE LOTUS
The Lotus Aesthetics and Wellness was built on a dream from two friends who were simply too busy with their home and professional lives to seek out aesthetic treatments, or self care in general, but we had absolutely no plans of growing old!! Our "well, we will just inject each other" turned into us injecting our friends, and then their friends, and so on, and so on. We continue to gain beautiful new clients, mostly by word of mouth, who often end up just enlarging our circle of friends.
The Lotus, originally Concierge Aesthetics of San Antonio (CASA), is now a dream come true for other busy people who want to look their best without wasting valuable time waiting for appointments and without the disappointment of seeing unfamiliar faces when returning for treatments.
